Chemo today now off for a week March 10, 2010
Successfully received another round of chemotherapy today. Now I am off for a whole week….yippee! Time to start logging how I am feeling and when so I can start to fill in some sort of social schedule. There is only so much daytime tv, books and jigsaw puzzles someone can do. May stop back to doctor’s office on Friday just for a refill on some fluids and anti nausea steroids. Other than that having a good day. Actually had a good lunch and snacks during the day. Love when the appetite comes back. Eating can sometimes be a difficult chore. That’s the first time I can say that! xoxoxoxoxox!!!
Thank you Everyone!!! March 7, 2010
I wanted to give everyone my heartfelt thanks for the show of love and support displayed at the benefit last night. I am truly overwhelmed by the amount of support!!! It is this type of support that is going to continue to help me battle against this awful disease everyday. It is due to the showing of support that motivates me everyday! Thank you again!I love everyone!
THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT! March 1, 2010
My pain regimen is starting to stabalize my discomfort. I definately would love to have visitors but please reconfirm with me and understand that my condition changes from hour to hour…therefore, you never know what to expect.
I LOVE EVERYONE AND APPRECIATE ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT!
WHAT MORE COULD A GIRL ASK FOR??
Another 8 nights in the hospital…(too bad they don’t give points) February 19, 2010
Well, that temperature and trip to the emergency room on Monday turned ito another over a week long vacation at the Paoli Memorial Hilton. During this stay we leaarned that we will proably not be able to define the actual start site of the cancer. We also eradicadited that nasty fever with some kick butt IV antibiotics. Lastly, we worked on a new pain manaement regimen.
ER…ugghh!! February 16, 2010
Unfortunatley, had a quick trip to the emergency room yesterday beause my temperature was over 100.5. Went in and got a few blood tests, gave a urine sample and a chest x-ray. They released me with just some oral antibiotics but that is enough scares like that for while, please!
Okay, so two weeks since my 1st chemo and a week since the neupogen shot to boost my white blood cell and still…denied for chemo again! Boo! Apparently, my white blood cells count does not want to cooperate with my oncologists. So this week, I get three days in a row of neupogen and I am scheduled again for try 3 of my second round of chemo (have I lost you yet!) for Monday. Keep you figures crossed!
